Rental Rules

Rent Due and Late Payment Penalties
A. Rent Payments are due on the first day of the month, in advance. A $15 late payment fee (per unit) will be charged IF NOT RECEIVED by the 5th of the month. (Mail to the address: P.O. Box 129, Palmyra, PA 17078; or drop in drop box located by the office.
Bad Checks and Re-Handling Fees
B. Return checks, credit card denials or debit draft returns, for any reason, will incur a $25 handling and redeposit fee, PLUS LATE FEE IF APPLICABLE.
Move Outs
C. The minimum rental is one month. Thereafter, partial rent (due to move out) will be in fifteen day increments (example: move out on the 10th, rent is due through the 15th; move out on the 20th, rent is due through the end of the month).
D. A 10 day notice, in writing, must be given in advance. The 10 day notice will determine the partial rent due as per section C above. The drop box at the gate can be used for written notification.
E. Your unit is to be broom clean upon move out. We have no trash disposal on the property and it is your responsibility to haul it away. There will be a minimum fee of $20 to remove any trash left in or around your unit. These fee will be deducted from your security deposit.
F. If rent and late fee are not paid, access to the storage lot will be denied and stored items may be sold.
G. Refund of security deposits, less any applicable fee, will be mailed to address on file (or a new address provided) within 30 days of move out.
Insurance
H. Carlin's Storage only has insurance on its buildings, not on contents. Tenant is responsible to have or obtain insurance on stored items.
